Tourism: Dianne Dredge
Regenerative Change Agents - a podcast about people improving the world.
In the first season we hear from amazing women, regenerative change agents, who are paving the way towards a new way of living in the world by using tourism as a catalyst to spread the regenerative mindset and practices around our globe.
In this episode with Dr Dianne Dredge we dive into regenerative development and regenerative tourism both in theory as in practice. We explore belonging in place, letting go of the ego and Dianne’s lived experience with ecology, tourism, higher education, entrepreneurship, destinations, regeneration, working in systems and breathing!
Dr Dianne Dredge is the founder and director of the Tourism CoLab and actively changing the system. Dianne has two decades of experience with consulting and with higher education as a professor in tourism, regional development and policy. She published 8 books and over 250 papers and is the change agent together with Sarah Lebski behind the regenerative living lab on Flinders Island, in Tasmania. She educates and coaches the next generation of innovative thought leaders and change makers in the Tourism CoLab. Dianne is actively bringing together the potential of regenerative tourism and building the needed bridges!
